Dickerson Point, on the west side of Henderson Inlet was known as Bic-sa'xwab, meaning "Where they Jump". The name could refer to the once plentiful salmon or Orca whales. It could refer to the white caps and whirl pools created by an incoming tide confronting the prevailing winds.
